
Our K4 students had a great time at Muffins with Mom yesterday. ๐ฅฐ











Our first graders kicked off their subtraction unit by playing a fun round of bowling! Students took turns knocking down the โpinsโ, modeling with a drawing, and writing a subtraction sentence. ๐ณ







Say cheese! ๐ท๐ง Tomorrow is picture day at Flat Rock! These pictures will be used for our yearbook. Proofs will be sent home for purchasing.


K5 concluded their unit on apples by sampling a variety of yummy apple treats and graphing their results! ๐๐ฅง Mmmm, delicious!









What a fun way to practice vocabulary! 2nd graders took turns sorting their vocabulary words by parts of speech. Adjective, verb, or noun? ๐ค๐ค








Mrs. Loftis and Mrs. O'Barr's K5 students are working to beautify our school by planting broccoli and marigold seeds. ๐๐ฅฆ๐ผ

Dr. Ben Miedema, Education Associate for Physical Education & Health, paid a visit to Flat Rock on behalf of the South Carolina Department of Education's Office of Assessment and Standards.
While Coach Johnson was not able to be present at school, we are so proud of him and the Flat Rock team for exceeding healthy standards at school! ๐
