
Anderson 3 is sponsoring a Drive Through Storybook event on Saturday, October 31st, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM for K4 through 5th grade students. Families may drive around Flat Rock Elementary and experience story time. While you can't get out of your car, we encourage students to wear their costumes. We are going to have a MONSTEROUS good time!

Mrs. Moore, our STEM coach, and 2nd grade engineering students are beautifying our outdoor classroom area by weeding and planting mums and pansies.

Mrs. Christenburyโs class is selling sweatshirt fleece blankets. Color choices include: gold, black, navy, forest green, and red. The cost is $20 per blanket. Deadline to order is October 23rd. Today is the last day to purchase technology insurance for Chromebooks. After today, if damage is reported, the full price of repair will be charged. If you haven't already purchased the $30 technology insurance and wish to do so, you may pay online through eFunds, or contact your student's school.

Census workers will hold a drive-through 2020 Census assistance event on Friday, September 25, from 3-5 PM at the Starr Town Hall. Census participation in the Starr-Iva area continues to be the lowest in the county. Each person counted equals approx. $809 in funding! The USDA announced an extension to allow ALL students to receive meals at no charge through December 31, 2020! Anderson 3 students will receive breakfast and lunch meals for FREE for the remainder of 2020.

We have created a weekly Progress Report to inform our community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The report will include Positive COVID-19 cases within Anderson 3 schools.
