FRES held our annual school spelling bee this morning. All of our students did a great job, and we are so proud of them. Congratulations to our winner, Alexiaa McIntosh and runner up, Bentley Alexander.
We enjoyed participating in the 12th Annual Tiger Trot to support the Iva Recreation Association.
We invite you to attend our A3 Veterans Day program this Friday, November 11th, at 9:00. The program will take place in the CHS gymnasium. Doors will open at 8:30. Students from our FRES Honors Choir will be performing. All veterans and community members are welcome to attend!

The 12th annual Tiger Trot community run will be held on Saturday, November 12th. Registration forms came home in Friday Folders last week. We'd love to see our Flat Rock students and families at this event! The school with the most registrations will win the Golden Shoe. Forms may be returned to school through October 28th.

4th and 5th grade Media Productions students had a great time visiting Clemson University's Media Broadcasting department! Students were able to see how videos are produced and talk with specialists in this career field. They were also able to tour the university campus.

Holiday Assistance, also known as Angel Tree, is a program that provides presents for families. Families that may qualify should read the requirements below.
Please complete the application form: This application does NOT guarantee that your child(ren) will receive assistance. School counselors will contact you IF your application is approved. Because of limited funding, Anderson Three Angel Tree programs are only able to offer assistance NOT totally provide all needs/wishes.
Eligibility:
Families who apply for assistance must have students that attend A3 schools (K-4 through12th grade). Students attending homeschool or virtual school are not eligible.
Younger siblings under the age of five and not enrolled in A3 will also be eligible (ex: infants, toddlers, and four-year-olds).
Older siblings that have dropped out of high school or have graduated from high school are not eligible.

The information that you complete on this form will be used to purchase items if your child(ren) are selected. Filling out the requested information below does not guarantee that your child(ren) will be chosen.
Please make sure that you indicate if your child's clothing/shoes need to be children's, youth's, junior's, or adult sizes.
We will use the phone number and email address that you provide in this document to contact you when your gifts are ready to be picked up.
Gifts will be ready between Dec 6th-14th.
Please make arrangements to have your gifts picked up.
