After reading the book Miss Rumphius, a book about spreading love and beauty in the world, Mrs. Blantonโs second grade reading classes worked to make our school more beautiful by learning how to properly compose and write a letter. Each student chose a staff member to write a letter of gratitude to. โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐

K4 and K5 students in Mrs. Bradford's STEAM classes have been learning about Earth Day and the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling! Students reused paper towel rolls to create bird feeders. ๐ฆ In the process, some students even got a sweet taste of peanut butter! ๐ฅ

1st grade students concluded their author study on Beatrix Potter with a spring tea party! ๐ด๐ฐ๐ In addition, students also learned about table etiquette and using good manners. Thank you to everyone who helped supply our students with delicious treats! ๐ค
