This week students at Starr Elementary read the book Chrysanthemum to demonstrate how mean words can affect someone. Students promised to be kind to their classmates by placing a bandaid on the heart. "Before you speak, think and be smart. It's hard to fix a wrinkled heart."

November Employee of the Month Congratulations to Lone Keasler. She was named our November Employee of the Month. She is an amazing leader and role model for our students.
