
Starr Elementary 5th graders are designing and building bridges today... in their pajamas!

Students and teachers are getting into the spirit of Grinch Day at Starr!


First graders used the Engineering Design Process to create special shape ornaments for their family members.

Starr Parents! Our amazing first graders have worked hard to prepare for the Holiday Market. It will take place tomorrow (12/13). Prices will range from 50 cents to $5. Pictures with Santa are $5. Please send money with your child tomorrow for the Holiday Market!

November Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Lone Keasler. She was named our November Employee of the Month. She is an amazing leader and role model for our students. Ms. Lone always has a smile on her face and she works hard to provide for our school each and every day. Our students, faculty and staff are so appreciative of the love she shows us.


Anderson School District 3 will be on a 2 hour delay Tuesday, December 11th.

Anderson #3 will operate on a two hour delay Tuesday, December 11th.

All of the Anderson School Districts will meet at 5am tomorrow morning (12/11) to make a final decision on operations for Tuesday. We will post on the app and Facebook if there are any changes to the school schedule.

Due to the winter weather and dangerous driving conditions, all schools in Anderson 3 are closed on Monday, December 10, 2018. Stay safe and stay warm.

5th graders participate in the Grinchโs Hour of Code!




What a fun afternoon at Starr. Our Principal read "How to Catch an Elf" to our students and our chorus club led Christmas carols and we had a special guest!!!

The story of second graders working hard to program Dash.





Starr Elementary robotics teams earned commendations from the Anderson 3 Administration and Board Members for their excellent showing at the Tri-County Robotics Competition .



Mrs. Taylor sent an email asking for help with her technology and Mr. Lee, from our amazing IT department, came to save the day!


5th graders are programming Dash to plot ordered pairs on a coordinate plane!




Second and first graders enjoyed a โFriendsgivingโ! They had to split their food into fourths so everyone would have a fourth of each item!




Congratulations to Crystal Vaughn. She was named our October Employee of the Month. Mrs. Vaughn works with students daily to help push them closer to their goals We are so blessed to have her serving in her position this year.
