Flat Rock Weekly Update
We will deliver meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.
Bins will be placed at the gym entrance to the school on Friday, May 22 and will remain there until Thursday, May 28. All work and school materials may be dropped off except Chromebooks. Please do not drop off any technology. We will
have a pick up day on June 2. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school at 864-296-9191.

STEAM Camp for the 2020 summer has been cancelled. We look forward to offering this opportunity next summer.
Congratulations to Carly Herron and Jessica Blanton. Carly has been named our FRES Teacher of the Year, and Jessica has been named our FRES Support Staff of the Year. These ladies work together in K5 and do an amazing job. Carly and Jessica, we are thankful you are part of our Flat Rock family, and we are proud of you!

Attention all Greenville Drive Michelin Reading Challenge All-Stars! The baseball game date has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 9th. What a fun way to celebrate going back to school. More information will follow soon!
Online ordering for this year's Flat Rock Elementary yearbook is happening now. Use the information you will find on our website and facebook page to order your yearbook. Online ordering will continue until April 30. Yearbooks are $20. If you have any questions, you may contact Ms. Dodd at school at 296-9191.
For those of you participating in meal delivery, we will deliver four days worth of meals tomorrow, Thursday, April 16 for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pick up time at Flat Rock will be 10:30 - 11:00 AM.
All students may drop off work today and tomorrow. The bins will be on the front porch until 12 noon on Friday. Parents/guardians of K4 through second grade students may drive through and pick up work today 4 - 6 pm. K4 through second grade packets have been uploaded to our website at sites.google.com/acsd3.org/elearningday.
Parents, email me at doddc@acsd3.org, tell me who your children are, and I will send a custom digital book to your child or children. They will be characters in the book. I look forward to hearing from you. This is another way we can encourage our students to read.
We’re giving out K4 - 2nd grade materials and birthday pencils today!
Flat Rock Family, we will have a drop off/pick up day tomorrow, Thursday, April 2, at school. You may drop off completed work any time from 7:00 am on Thursday until 12 noon on Friday. Mr. Powell and I will be outside during the hours of 7 to 9 AM and 4 to 6 PM on Thursday for K4 through second grade families who need to pick up a paper copy of the new assignments. If you have Internet access and a printer at home, you may download the new assignments from our website at acsd3.org. Use the links to academics and eLearning. These assignments should begin on April 13. Fifteen extra assignments have been included in the packet in case the school closure is extended past April 30. Third through fifth graders will be able to access assignments on Google Classroom beginning April 13. Five days of assignments will be uploaded at a time. Important Information!
Flat Rock Elementary will have an assignment pick up and drop off on Thursday, April 2nd which is next week. Any K4 through 5th grader may drop off completed work in bins provided on the front porch. The bins will be there from Thursday at 7 AM until Friday at 12 noon. K4 through 2nd grade parents will also be able to pick up new assignment packets on Thursday, April 2nd during the hours of 7 to 9 AM and 4-6 PM. If you have internet access, you will be able to download the same packet from our district webpage. The link is bit.ly/A3elearn. Grades 3 through 5 will continue to complete assignments on Chromebooks. Work will be uploaded five days at a time. Please call the school if you have any questions.
