Mrs. Loftis’ 1st Grade Class went on a nature walk for fall leaves. Students made observations on their leaves and completed a leaf report. 🍁
Students can shop at the Book Fair at school through Tuesday. Families can also shop online through Oct 17 at www.scholastic.com/fair (type in Flat Rock Elementary, select our school, and start shopping!). Orders $25 or more ship free and all orders ship directly to your home.

In coordination with DHEC, Anderson 3 will host a free Pfizer vaccine clinic at Crescent High School tomorrow, Friday, September 10th, from 2-5 PM. The clinic will be held in the New Gym parking lot. All staff, students (12+), and community members are welcome to attend.

We had a great first day of school! Mrs. Johnson’s kindergartners went on a school wide hunt for clues and used their problem solving skills.

We are looking forward to meeting our Flat Rock families tonight at our Meet the Teacher event. Meet the Teacher will be from 5 PM - 7 PM. Make sure you bring your proof of residency. If you have not registered your student on the parent portal, we will have Chromebooks available for you to use. You may park in any area that is paved, but you will need to enter the school through the cafeteria doors on our front porch. As a treat, we will have the Kona Ice truck parked in front of the school. See the price list below. Welcome back!
