Bienvenida, Senora Jenny Gaillard! 🍎🇨🇴 Senora Gaillard has joined our #A3TeachingTeam as a Spanish Teacher at Crescent High School. Jenny is from Colombia - South America, where she was a Spanish teacher for 18 years. She moved to the United States 10 years ago, married, and became an American Citizen. Jenny joined our staff mid-year last year, so this is her first full school year. We are excited to have Senora Jenny in Anderson 3! 💛

Welcome, Mrs. Vickie McComas! 🍎🇪🇸🎉 Señora McComas is joining our 2023-2024 #A3TeachingTeam as a Spanish Teacher at Crescent High School! Vickie recently retired after teaching Spanish in Pennsylvania for 30 years. She and her husband, Eric, have been married for 26 years and have two children. ¡Bienvenida a Anderson 3, Señora McComas! 💛

This summer, Phase I of a 2.8 Million Dollar HVAC Project began with the replacement of 51 HVAC units at Starr-Iva Middle. The main goal of this capital project was to improve air quality within the school by replacing old units. ESSER (COVID-19) funds supported the project. 🏫❄️ The massive task has been challenging due to the shortened summer timeline. Thanks to the hard work of the US&S Facility Services Team, 75% of the school is now complete and operational. Over the weekend, the SIMS facilities team and backup from other schools worked to wax floors and prepare the school. Thanks to their hard work, Starr-Iva Middle will now be able to host their 6th Grade Tiger Camp at SIMS on Tuesday! While this project has been challenging, we are thankful for our team pulling together to prepare the school for students, staff, and families. 🤩🎉
