6th Grade Science "Getting Googly over Animals"
Parents and community members got a sneak peak into a day in the life of a 6th grade band and/or chorus students tonight at the 6th grade concert. Students demonstrated how and what they're learning about music. It was truly impressive! Great job, Ms. Terry and Mr. Holliday!

7th and 8th grade students who scores exemplary in all areas of SCPASS and SCReady who are not already a member of Beta Club received an invitation on 11/8. Dues are required to particpate in the upcoming indcution ceremony (date TBA)! Dues ($20) must be turned in by Tues 11/20.

The Book Fair will end tomorrow after 7th grade lunch (the last lunch). Students should make their way to the library during their Related Arts class or during lunch to make those last minute purchases! Thanks to all who have already bought from the Book Fair!

Make-up pictures will be THIS FRIDAY, Nov. 2. Any SIMS student who did not have his or her picture taken at the first picture day should plan to have his or her picture taken on Friday.

Congratulations to SIMS Anglers for their first place finish in the middle school division of the Troll Championship PBC "Dorman" Classic held at Lake Hartwell on Oct. 20. This is the second year in a row that SIMS Anglers have had a first place overall finish at this event!!
This week SIMS kicks off the Annual Dan McCullough Angel Tree fundraiser. Students buy paper links in honor of their best friend. Each winning homeroom for each grade will get a pizza party! If anyone you know is interested in donating to this ministry please contact Guidance.
