Beginning today (10/7) SIMS is selling raffle tickets for a new set of Michelin Tires. Tickets can be purchased in the front office at 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. The proceeds from this raffle will support our district and the United Way. Let's make this a great success! Go Tigers!
PSAT testing will be held at Starr-Iva Middle School for eighth grade students enrolled in honors English I and honors algebra I on Wednesday, October 16th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
You can also upload pictures for possible inclusion in the yearbook at yearbookordercenter.com! We'd love to have some of those selfies and "out of school" pictures to possibly include. It's super easy to do and is a great way to make the yearbook even more special! Try it!!

Mrs. Burdette and Ms. Smith's 6th grade social studies classes went on an architectural exploration throughout Egypt’s many ancient structures. Students got the chance to study several images of pyramids, housing, and monuments of Egypt and explore all the possibilities that when into the construction of these structures. Students used Keva building blocks to see if they could build the landmarks to match what the Egyptians did. You could say they were walking like the Egyptians!
