Teacher of the Year - Mr. Chris Lollis
Mr. Chris Lollis is a remarkable 6th-grade math teacher whose dedication and passion for education are unparalleled. As the grade level leader for 6th grade, he brings a sense of unity and direction to both his colleagues and students. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Lollis takes on the role of field trip coordinator, meticulously planning enriching experiences that broaden his students' horizons and opportunities they might not have had without his planning. His commitment to the school community is further evident in his active participation on the school's lead team, where he contributes innovative ideas and solutions for school improvement.
In addition to his daytime responsibilities, Mr. Lollis also teaches in the afterschool program, providing extra support and enrichment to students who need it. His reliability and willingness to go above and beyond make him invaluable to our school. Colleagues and students alike appreciate his approachable nature and the genuine care he shows for everyone. As though this is not enough, Mr. Lollis serves as a coach within our middle school football program, which gives him even more opportunities to make a positive impact on our students’ lives.
Currently working toward an administrative career, Mr. Lollis embodies the qualities of a future leader. He is visionary, compassionate, and dedicated. He manages to balance his numerous roles with grace, always maintaining a positive attitude and an infectious enthusiasm for teaching. His ability to inspire and motivate others sets him apart as not just an educator, but a mentor and role model.
