
Iva Elementary School will be dismissing early on Friday, December 20th at 12:10 p.m. for Christmas Break. School will return on Monday, January 6th. We wish you and your family Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.

Good afternoon Iva Elementary parents, this is a reminder that students should not be dropped off in the car line after 7:45 in the morning. If you're arriving after 7:45, you will need to come into the front office to sign your students in. Thank you.

Gobble, Gobble! Watch us wobble! We are so thankful that Iva Elementary has been blessed with the most outstanding cafeteria, office, and custodial staff! A special thanks to our community for supporting our students and our school while enjoying a delicious meal!


Parents, we are looking forward to Thursday's annual Thanksgiving Lunch. If you plan to attend, please be aware that lines may be long and you will need to bring your Driver License. Thank you very much. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

5th Grade Science classes measured pitching speed, created graphs, compared, and interpreted data.

Iva Elementary Block Builders is ready for City Shapers Competition!


Mrs. Holbrook's K4 class celebrated book character day and shared their favorite books with their classmates!

It was a very โbuzzyโ Halloween day in Ms. Boggsโs and Mrs. Paulโs K4 class today!


Mrs. Harbertโs 2nd graders used Summary Slides to retell the story Stellaluna.



Third graders at Iva Elementary were able to take part in an edible food chain activity and enjoy a sweet treat!





Ms. O'Quinn's Kindergarten students adopted reading buddies today! The children can read books to their new "forever friends" each night!





Iva Elementary will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week on October 28 through November 1. We would love to see each student participating in the daily events! Please see the schedule below.

Mrs. Harbert's second-graders had a place value party last week! Plastic Base-10 blocks were replaced with 100s Cheez-Its, 10s Pretzel Rods, and 1s M&Ms!
