Due to anticipated inclement weather from Hurricane Zeta, Anderson School District 3 will hold an eLearning Day on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
Virtual and Face-to-face students will have an eLearning day. There will be no virtual classes meeting via Google Meet. All eLearning assignments will be posted in Google Classroom or dispersed via eLearning Folders.
Tomorrow (October 28) is the last day to submit entries for our school writing contest! Get those pencils moving--prizes will be awarded!
Don’t forget tomorrow is picture day at Iva Elementary School! If you would like to order pictures, please make sure you send in the order form and payment with your child in the morning! Make-up picture day will be December 10th! Virtual students will be invited to have their picture taken that day as well. We will send more information to our virtual students closer to time!

Mrs. Murdock's and Mrs. Dove's Kindergarten students showcased their writing and illustrating skills at their K5 Writing Celebration! A huge "Thank You" goes to those who took time to encourage these students by listening to them read!
Ms. Whitfield’s class has been learning how to closely read a text in order to develop a deeper level of understanding while reading! Before diving into a text they practiced their close reading skills by looking closely at Oreos! I think it’s safe to say they had a lot of fun doing this activity!
