Teacher of the Year- Todd Johnson
Todd Johnson’s peers had this to say about him, “I see daily the fervor and passion he teaches with. He truly cares about his students and genuinely wants them to do well. He goes the extra mile. He works diligently to be a true mentor. His work ethic is one both students and peers can admire.” These statements give a small glimpse into Mr. Johnson’s passion, enthusiasm, optimism, and work ethic. Failure is not an option in Mr. Johnson’s class. He sees the best in every student, and doesn’t allow any barrier to get between his students and their success. As Rita Pierson said and Mrs. Hipp often reminds us, “Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them. Who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” Mr. Johnson is a champion for students at Crescent High School and very deserving to be recognized as our Teacher of the Year!
