With 24 years dedicated to the students in Anderson School District 3, Sandy Thrasher’s commitment is undeniable. Ms. Thrasher’s peers said these things about her, “Sandy Thrasher possesses a remarkably huge heart. Her empathy and kindness do not go unnoticed. Sandy is multi-talented and uses that in the classroom. She is 100% invested in helping students. Sandy is one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever worked with. She is an inspiration to us all.” These statements could not be more true for describing Ms. Thrasher. For the last 3 years, while faithfully supporting the students of Crescent High School inside and outside the classroom, Ms. Thrasher has been a student herself pursuing her degree in Special Education. The example Ms. Thrasher has set throughout this journey has truly been inspirational for her students and peers. Moreover, the joy that Ms. Thrasher brings each day with her bright smile, top-notch spirit week outfits, and love for our school community makes her extremely deserving to be named our Support Staff of the Year!
