
The Anderson 3 Teacher forum participated with the other Anderson County forums to welcome State Superintendent Molly Spearman to the upstate. It was a great opportunity to listen and talk with our state leader.

With the help of Anderson County 4-H agent Jessica Simpson, Starr Elementary School chartered a 4-H club for students. Last week we caught them hard at work spreading soil and planting broccoli! ๐๐จ๐ปโ๐พ๐ฉ๐พโ๐พ

Wednesday, Induction teachers attended the Upstate Schools Consortium Seminar held at Furman University. While there, they attended "How to Impact Student Achievement and Behavior" hosted by Annette Breaux, author of the book the induction class is studying.

At our August Board Meeting, Mrs. Hipp and the board recognized trustees Danny Owens and Tripp Bouknight for gaining Level lll of the SC School Boards Association. Director of Finance, Matthew Moore, was also recognized for gaining School Business Officer certification.

The CHS Football Team stopped by the Iva Civic Center to assist in serving food with the Meals on Wheels-Anderson Organization, with one of their weekly meals. Crescent Alumni attending the event thanked the team by performing one of their classic football chants. Go Tigers!
