Anderson Federal Credit Union is excited to announce a giveaway of TWO $500 Classroom Makeovers!! AFCU know's that many teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to equip their classrooms so they're here to help!
To apply, they want to know your story! Share your passion, vision, theme and goals for your students for the upcoming 2019 -20 school year. Submissions can be in narrative or video format – Be creative!!
TWO recipients will be selected to receive a $500 Classroom Makeover, as well as AFCU volunteers to help make it all come together!

The SC Education Oversight Committee announced Tuesday that Anderson 3 has been chosen to participate in Year 2 of the State eLearning Pilot! The eLearning Pilot allows Anderson 3 students to complete school work at home on inclement weather days, removing the need for snow make-up days in our district calendar. This will support the continuity of instruction and keep students engaged. We will provide more information as soon as details are finalized.

CSI investigations were going on during STEAM Camp! Students used microscopes to perform hair analysis on human, non-human, and synthetic hair. They also used a new digital microscope to perform fingerprint analysis!

A new awning for the bus rider line was recently added to Flat Rock. A special outdoor classroom is an ongoing project, thanks to grants from Michelin. Landscaping and a new garden were recently added, with plans for future tables and additional landscaping.
Starr-Iva Middle is receiving several upgrades this summer. The side entrance is receiving a face lift with brick columns and a fenced in garbage pad. The interior will have a new floor in the gym and hall! We can’t wait for the finished product!
