On Saturday, the Crescent Marching Band performed at the C. Phillip McIntyre Tournament of Bands at Byrnes High School. They earned Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, and 1st Place in Division A! The team looks sharp in their new uniforms! Congratulations to these students!

The Michelin-Starr Plant generously donated $40,000 worth of mechatronics equipment for the Anderson Institute of Technology’s Mechatronics & Digital Electronics courses. Thank you, Michelin-Starr Plant, for being a continued business partner of Anderson 3 and supporting the programs at AIT.
The Anderson 3 Teacher forum participated with the other Anderson County forums to welcome State Superintendent Molly Spearman to the upstate. It was a great opportunity to listen and talk with our state leader.
With the help of Anderson County 4-H agent Jessica Simpson, Starr Elementary School chartered a 4-H club for students. Last week we caught them hard at work spreading soil and planting broccoli! 🍀👨🏻🌾👩🏾🌾

Wednesday, Induction teachers attended the Upstate Schools Consortium Seminar held at Furman University. While there, they attended "How to Impact Student Achievement and Behavior" hosted by Annette Breaux, author of the book the induction class is studying.
