She later earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University. Ms. Smith has a son, Sawyer, who is in Kindergarten.
"What do you value most about your position?"
I value the team that I work with. We keep each other on top of everything, and we push each other to grow our teaching! I also love that I get to instill a love of reading in our students at FRES! Introducing them to new characters, places, and ideas is just awesome! Seeing them learn to read new texts, digger deeper into them, and discover the magic of literature makes my teacher's heart happy!"
Here are three facts about Ms. Smith:
1. "I have a twin sister. We are mirror-image twins, meaning we are complete opposites of one another. She is left-handed, and I am right-handed!" ๐ญ
2. "You can make me happy by giving me tacos!" ๐ฎ
3. "My favorite color is purple!" ๐
Thank you, Ms. Smith, for being a rockstar teacher at Flat Rock Elementary. Congratulations! ๐
