According to SchoolDigger.com, Anderson 3 is now ranked #5 among 76 school districts in the state of South Carolina. The new district rankings follow the release of 2022 South Carolina testing data, which showed strong growth among Anderson 3 schools. This is the 4th year in a row Anderson 3 has ranked in the top 10. The district has held the #7 spot for the past three years. This accomplishment is a testament to our student's and staff's hard work and dedication.
Along with jumping two spots in the district rankings, Crescent High School jumped fifty-six spots to #32. This year's ranking is the highest Crescent High School has ever ranked on the SchoolDigger.com ratings. Crescent joins Starr Elementary as being in the top 15% of the state.
Starr-Iva Middle school has seen significant post-covid gains after jumping 41 spots.
Flat Rock Elementary improved significantly and leaped forty-five spots to 139th place out of 625 elementary schools in the state. Their current ranking is the highest in school history. Iva Elementary is neck and neck with Flat Rock Elementary after improving 29 spots to 144th.
After a stellar year, Starr Elementary held its ground and remained in the top 15% of the state.
Even with the challenges of K12 education post-pandemic, Anderson 3 students and staff have "Bridged the Gaps" and continue to rise to the challenge.
