Tonight the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees approved the administration's recommendation for Ashlea Hatcher to become Coordinator of Early Learning and Parent Involvement for the 2022-2023 school year. She replaces the current coordinator, Tammy Vaughn who is retiring at the end of June.
Hatcher joined Anderson 3 in 2008 as a first-grade teacher at Flat Rock Elementary. During her career, she has served as a teacher at Starr Elementary and Flat Rock Elementary. From 2016 to 2020 she served as Iva Elementary’s Reading Coach. In 2020, Mrs. Hatcher was named Starr Elementary’s Assistant Principal of Instruction. Ashlea earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Lander University, a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Anderson University.
Ashlea and her husband Kyle have three children, Paxton, Paisley, and Price. Together they reside in Anderson.
