During the April 2022 meeting of the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees, the board approved the administration's recommendation for Candace Roberts to become Flat Rock Elementary's Assistant Principal of Instruction for the 2022-2023 school year. She replaces the current Assistant Principal, Hanna West, who is transferring to Greenwood 50.
Roberts joined Anderson 3 in 2014 as a second-grade teacher at Starr Elementary. In 2021, she transferred to Flat Rock Elementary to serve as the school Reading Coach. Mrs. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Anderson University.
Candace and her husband Daniel have one son, Brayden. Together they reside in Dewy Rose, Georgia.
