Today U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, joined by Deputy Secretary Mitchell M. Zais and S.C. Department of Education Career and Technical Education Director Angel Malone, took a tour of the Anderson Institute of Technology facilities. During the visit, DeVos commended the institute's hands-on learning environments that foster its 20 innovative programs for students in Anderson Districts 3, 4 & 5.
"A.I.T. is breaking down barriers between education and industry with its innovative workforce preparation programs. Students there are engaged in hands-on learning that is truly preparing them for future success."
