At the December meeting of the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees, the board recognized the Crescent Elite Shooters for their 2023 National Sporting Clays Championship win. This title brings back-to-back National Championships to the trophy case thanks to Quaid Busby (9th), Jed Dodgens (11th), and Maddox Martin (11th). Congratulations!
Nicolas Largaespada, a Computer Science student at the Anderson Institute of Technology, was recognized by the board for completing the CompTIA ACAD Security + Exam, earning him a cybersecurity credential. CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Kudos to Nicolas for this great accomplishment!
Four students, Rocksten Hanks (10th), Maximino Hernandez-Velez (9th), Korion Baskin (9th) and Carmen Lesley (9th) were named to the 2023 SCACDA Honor Choir.
Three students, Rocksten Hanks (10th), Catalynn (Bella), Wright (11th), and Amberlee McKellar (11th), were named to the 2023 All-State Choir.
Both of these choral programs require intense auditions, leaving selection highly competitive. We are proud of these students for their hard work and dedication!
