"I was born and raised in Anderson, SC! I grew up in Anderson District Five where I attended Concord Elementary, McCants Middle School, and T.L Hanna High School. When I graduated from high school I decided to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education at The College of Charleston. I absolutely loved my four years there but after graduating I decided to move home to begin my teaching career. After moving home in May I was quickly hired at Starr Elementary. I landed my dream teaching job in first grade. I taught first grade for 5 years and in my 6th year, I moved up to third. During my time at Starr, my dream of becoming an educational leader developed. I completed my Masters of Education at Anderson University and soon after completed an educational leadership cohort at Clemson University where I received my Education Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision. Anderson Three has helped shape me into the person I am today. I have taken part in leadership cohorts and worked alongside many leaders in our district while completing hours upon hours of intern work while working on my EdS degree at Clemson. It is truly an answered prayer that I was able to begin my leadership career at Iva Elementary this school year."
